So bored and lacking skill

Don't really feel like my art is getting anywhere haha
I want to draw loads, and I am, but I'm not really pleased with what I'm churning out
To be fair, if I want to improve I need to stick at it but it's very frustrating when I can't get something right. I am a shocking perfectionist and want all my pictures to look a certain way and have a certain style or feel to them and often it just doesn't work out. For example, I tried to draw a female character I have in mind, but for some reason I seem unable to draw good torsos right now, or necks or feet and sometimes faces. It's frustrating.
I'm also truly inspired by a good deal of artists on DA and have recently come across a few more artists and I aspire to be able to draw/paint/whatever like them, but at the same time I don't just want to slavishly copy other artists, because it's not the right way to do things. I want to develop a really strong individual style, that might incorporate little things of what I see or learn here on DA. I'm not really sure if I'm acheiving that at the moment.

Anyhow, I'm getting on, being creative in others ways as well. Got 3 different story ideas churning away in my head, one of which I want to illustrate, if not some day create a kind of comic/manga/whateverthing. The others are novella types, and I'm having fun with doodling concpets and things for them all. I've shown you a few things I belive, but I will do a proper thing soon I'm sure.

Other than that, all is well. I'm getting a lot of reading done as well, now that I am very free (:
